Guardian Angel’s Farm Impresses Akothee
Guardian Angel recently shared images of his onion harvest from Waingo Farm.
The harvest reportedly amounted to more than 350 tonnes of onions. Based on an estimated wholesale price of KSh55 per kilogramme, the produce could be worth more than KSh19 million.
The achievement caught Akothee’s attention and prompted her to encourage other artists to consider agriculture and other income-generating ventures.
Akothee Warns Against Flashy Lifestyles
Akothee criticised celebrities who prioritise expensive lifestyles without building sustainable sources of income.
She argued that artists should focus on investments that can support them when their entertainment careers slow down.
According to her, financial pressure can force entertainers into poor decisions and negatively affect their careers.
Artists Told to Build Strong Brands
Akothee also highlighted the importance of proper career management among Kenyan entertainers.
She pointed to packaging, investment, management and understanding one's value as some of the areas artists need to improve.
She maintained that building a successful brand requires discipline, money and a clear strategy.
Farming Offers Alternative Income
Akothee praised Guardian Angel for investing beyond music and encouraged more creatives to follow his example.
She said artists can step away from the spotlight temporarily to build businesses without necessarily damaging their careers.
Her message was straightforward: entertainers should build financial security while they are still earning from their popularity.
Akothee's advice comes as more Kenyan celebrities diversify into farming, real estate, businesses and other investments to secure their futures beyond entertainment.
