John Methu to Lead DCP Rallies Across Three Kiambu Constituencies

Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) Secretary-General John Methu is scheduled to lead a series of public engagements in three Kiambu constituencies as the party expands its grassroots outreach. The Nyandarua Senator announced that the team would visit Lari, Limuru and Kikuyu on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

In a message shared on his X account on Saturday, Methu outlined the three constituencies included in the party's latest “Meet the People” tour. The activities are part of DCP's wider mobilisation campaign ahead of the 2027 General Election.

DCP Releases Schedule for Sunday Tour

According to a campaign poster circulated by the party, the day's programme will begin with a church service at FGCK Nyambari at 10am. The team is then expected to hold a rally at Nyambari Centre in Lari Constituency at 2pm.

The itinerary lists Mburoti in Limuru Constituency as the next stop, with a meeting scheduled for 3pm. The final engagement is planned for Ruthigiti in Kikuyu Constituency at 4pm.

The tour is being conducted under the party's “Skiza Ng'wana” campaign and its Green Wave mobilisation drive. These activities are intended to increase direct engagement between party leaders and residents across the targeted areas.

Methu Takes Leading Role in Party Outreach

Methu has been among the DCP leaders involved in public mobilisation as the party works to strengthen its grassroots structures. His latest assignment places him at the centre of the party's planned engagements across parts of Kiambu County.

The senator has also participated in wider political discussions concerning leadership in the Mt Kenya region and the direction of the opposition ahead of the next elections. Such engagements form part of the political activity taking place as parties seek to expand their support bases.

DCP Builds Presence Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Sunday tour comes as political parties intensify their activities ahead of the 2027 General Election. Constituency-level rallies and community meetings provide an opportunity for political leaders to introduce their agenda and interact with local residents.
